Lavinia Nucu and Andrei Caloian have joined Clifford Chance Badea as Associates in the Corporate M&A and Real Estate team coordinated by Partner Nadia Badea.
An experienced business lawyer with more than seven years of practice, Lavinia Nucu has built a strong profile advising foreign investors on large Real Estate deals, especially on the niche of forestry and agricultural lands. As litigator, Lavinia has represented clients in court on civil, commercial or administrative law, as well as in fiscal litigations. She has significant experience in Land Law litigation. Separately, Lavinia has experience in renewable energy projects and has advised on photovoltaic, biomass and wind projects.
She graduated Law School in 2004 and has two Masters Degrees in Business Law and Labor Law. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since April 2005.
With four years of experience in business law, Andrei Caloian has advised foreign investors on several projects, mostly in Real Estate and Aviation. Andrei was also involved in Employment mandates, as well as in two privatization projects alongside the team advising the state authority.
Andrei graduated the Bucharest University Law School in 2010, and the Academy of Economic Studies – the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Technology in 2009. He has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since May 2011.
