The implementation of the National Anti-corruption Strategy 2012-2015

Wednesday, July 17, 2013, the Ministry of Justice through the Technical Secretariat of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NAS) organized the fourth meeting of the cooperation platform of the central public administration, as part of the coordination and monitoring mechanism of the National Anti-corruption Strategy 2012 – 2015, according to a statement of the Ministry of Justice.

The Platform works were led by Simona Maya Teodoroiu, State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice and they gathered representatives such as secretary of state, general secretary and expert of the ministries that are members in the cooperation platform, as well as representatives of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the General Secretariat of Government.

The meetings series for cooperation platforms continues, on 18 July 2013, with the organization of the cooperation platform of the independent authorities and anti-corruption institutions. At this meeting the coordinators of the sectoral plans of the independent authorities and anti-corruption institutions are invited to participate. In September will be resumed the coordination meetings of the cooperation platforms with the local public administration, business field and civil society.

In parallel with the coordination meetings, the team of the Technical Secretariat of the NAS, along with independent experts from the independent authorities, ministries, NGOs and companies represented in the cooperation platform with the business field, continued running evaluation missions at the local public administration level according to the following calendar:

• July 17, 2013 – Arges County Council, Pitesti City Hall;
• July 18, 2013 – Giurgiu County Council, Giurgiu City Hall;
• July 22, 2013 – Dâmboviţa County Council; Moreni Town Hall; Căscioarele Town Hall, Calarasi county; Al. Odobescu Town Hall, Calarasi county;
• July 24, 2013 – Teleorman County Council.
