RLWeek October 17 – 23, 2022: Health care, foreign labour, cultural stamps, and industrial licenses updates

Health care laws amended.
On Monday, the 17th of October 2022, the Ministry of Health set for public debate an Emergency Ordinance amending and supplementing the following normative acts: Law no. 95/2006 on the public health reform; Law no. 151/2010 on specialised integrated health care, education, and social services for individuals suffering from the autism spectrum disorder and associated disorders; and EGO no. 180/2020 amending and supplementing Law no. 136/2020 establishing public health measures in situations of epidemic and biologic risks, and Law no. 158/2005 on paid leave and medical insurance compensation. Decision on foreign workers quota.
On Monday, the 17th of October 2022, the Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity set for public debate the Government Decision establishing the quota of newly-approved foreign workers in Romania in 2023. [source]

 

Cultural stamp sanctions.

On Thursday, the 20th of October 2022, Order no. 3887/2022 designating special bodies of the Ministry of Finances establishing and applying penalties, as well as debts regarding art. 5 of Law no. 35/1994 on cultural stamps, i.e. literature, cinema, theatre, music, folklore, plastic arts, architecture, and entertainment, was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 1021. Office of industrial license established.
On Thursday, the 20th of October 2022, EGO no. 140/2022 on the unique industrial license was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 1023. [source]
