Mineral survey, exploration, and exploitation tax amendment.
On Monday, the 23rd of May 2022, Decision no. 664/2022 amending the tax on mining activities of Mining Law no. 85/2003 was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 502. The taxes owed by licensees to the state pertaining to the activity of survey, exploration, and exploitation of minerals were amended as follows:
– annual tax of survey, from 358 RON/km2 to 411 RON/km2;
– annual tax of exploration, from 1,437 RON/km2 to 1,651 RON/km2;
– annual tax of exploitation, from 35,923 RON/km2 to 41,275 RON/km2. [source]
Fuel subsidy for shippers and distributors.
On Monday, the 23rd of May 2022, Decision no. 667/2022 was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 503. The decision fixes the state aid subsidising the increased fuel prices, as a result of the armed conflict in Ukraine; the decision amends annex no. 2 to Government Decision no. 370/2021 regarding the organising and functioning of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. On Monday, the 23rd of May 2022, Order no. 1,395/324/239/2022 was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 504. The Order implements the provisions of art. 8 (39) of Law no. 136/2020 regarding public safety measures in epidemiological and biological risk situations. The online medical file is available on the app Corona-forms, for the GP to monitor the activity and status of individuals who tested positive for the SARSCoV-2 virus, and for the coverage of costs by health insurance houses and the Special Telecommunications Service.
