A senior partner at a big law firm is rushing to Court early in the morning. He is followed by an intern, a trained young man, with a keen sense of reality:
The intern: “I feel so sorry for you. You’ve been in this business for so many years and all you do is go fetch what you’re master throws you. All this experience and yet all you do all day long is run around the Court’s and not make so much money… What a tormented life.”
The lawyer: “Am I right to say you are you last year’s intern?”
