Order no. 4887/2018 for the modification of the Regulation concerning assigning employer sponsored housing out of the housing stock of the Ministry of Justice, approved through the Justice Minister’s order no. 927/C/2006 was published in the Official Gazette no. 970 of the 2nd of December 2019.
The main modification lies with the change in the rightful point within each criterion in the process of assigning employer sponsored housing. Thus, the point system provisioned for “public servant” is modified from four points to a one point, while the category of “contractual personnel” knows a modification from two points to a one point. Likewise, the point system assigned for the criterion of “existence of legal alternative housing solutions to the process of assigning employer sponsored housing, including the legal possibility of reckoning up with the rent” was eliminated. The order introduces a new situation that is considered to be an unjustified rejection of an employer sponsored house, namely the withdrawal of the request to benefit from employer sponsored housing before a thirty day time period passed since its registration.
