Teodora joined the firm in 2009 and has had a considerable contribution over the years in the recognition and consolidation of the firm’s corporate and M&A practices. She became the eighth partner of BIRIȘ GORAN, being specialized in all matters related to corporate law, M&A, restructuring and due diligence, with a particular focus on transactional work. She was involved in a large number of domestic and international transactions, representing Romanian and international clients in diverse industries such as Real Estate, Software & Computer Services, Construction & Materials, Agriculture, Hospitality, Retail, and many others. Her clients include important investors, multinational companies and local developers.

BIRIȘ GORAN also promoted Ioana Cârtițe to Senior Tax Manager, in recognition of her solid tax experience. Ioana joined BIRIȘ GORAN in November 2013 and has more than ten years of experience, being specialized in direct and international taxation, transfer pricing, as well as statutory accounting and IFRS. She led numerous projects such as tax reviews and due diligence, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, tax appeals and assistance during tax inspections or in the relation with the authorities. In 2015, Ioana became a member of the Chamber of Tax Consultants. She is also an authorized assessor of undertakings, intangible assets and goodwill and an ACCA member since 2014. In August 2019, Ioana got a diploma in ADIT (Advanced Diploma in International Taxation), being one of the approximately 1,100 tax consultants who hold such accreditation at a global level.

This collaboration agreement continues LAW’s expansion in Europe.
