With 20 years of experience in M&A, Real Estate, Commercial, Finance-banking and a solid reputation at international level, partners Francisc Peli and Carmen Peli bring together an elite team of next generation lawyers. This is part of a strategy to reform their practices, aimed at maintaining the leading position and the excellence of their services.
In the new format, Francisc Peli will resume the Managing Partner position, the same role he assumed during 2008-2015, when PeliFilip went from start up to “law firm of the year” (Chambers & Partners 2015), overcoming economic crisis.
PELI Team will include Oana Bădărau, Partner and Head of Real Estate PELI – the same role held within PeliFilip, and Mihnea Galgoțiu-Săraru, Partener and Head of Dispute Resolution PELI, who was previously involved in coordinating PeliFilip’s litigation practice.

With a wealth of experience in the most complex transactions in financial, healthcare and telecommunications industries, Carmen Peli will coordinate the M&A and Corporate practice and will supervise the finance-banking and commercial projects. Well-known for her innovative legal solutions, Carmen Peli will continue to act as C-suite senior consultant for large corporations and investment funds.
Having an experience of 12 years in landmark real estate transactions, Oana Bădărău will manage the practice that gathers one of the largest and most experienced real estate legal team in Romania.
Mihnea Galgoțiu-Săraru will manage the Dispute Resolution department within PELI, having 10 years of experience in business law and having coordinated high-profile litigation and arbitration projects in various fields – from telecom and technology, energy, finance, PPPs, real estate, infrastructure and logistics to sports.
