The flagship event will take place on April 9, 2019
Ever since its first edition, Business Review’s Tax & Law Conference has been a landmark for professionals in the Romanian fiscal sector, with over 1,800 participants, 110 hours of debate on essential issues and case studies, as well as 250 top speakers. The 17th edition of the event will take place on April 9, 2019, in the Platinum Hall of the Sheraton Hotel in Bucharest.
This year’s edition puts the spotlight on the fiscal challenges the private sector is facing both at the local and European level, in the context of Britain’s exit from the EU, and focuses on the latest fiscal and legislative changes. The event will bring together representatives from the financial and legal departments of companies, consultants and officials from Romanian institutions and European Commission officials. The conference aims to bring clarity on the implementation of the new fiscal changes and offer solutions for the main fiscal and legislative challenges of 2019.
“2019 is a crucial year in terms of taxes for some of the most important industries in the Romanian economy. This year’s decision will influence investment projects for the next five to ten years for companies in Energy, Telecom and Banking. Business Review wants to contribute to the clarification of the fiscal conundrum in Romania and facilitate dialogue with authorities that are directly involved in decision-making,” said Ioana Erdei, Editor-in-Chief at Business Review.
This year’s main topics:
– Romanian and EU-wide perspectives on fiscal strategy in 2019
