Elimination of double taxation between Romania and Spain. The Convention between Romania and the Kingdom of Spain on the Elimination of Double Taxation on Income Taxes and on the Prevention of Tax Evasion of 18.10.2017 was published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 1079 of December 20,  2018. The Convention applies to persons who are residents of one or both of the Contracting States. The Convention applies to the following taxes:

  • in the case of Romania: income tax and profit tax;
  • in the case of Spain: income tax on natural persons; corporation tax; and non-residents income tax. [source]
