The Ministry of Health launched for public debate, on 20 October 2016, the draft of the Government Decision for amending and supplementing G. D. no. 206/2015 on the approval of the national health programs for the years 2015-2016.
Romania, the EU, EIF and EIB have completed the procedures related OP Initiative for SMEs
According to a release of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration, as of 21 October 21 2016, the documents related to Operational Programme Initiative for SMEs (POIIMM) were signed between Romania.,the European Union, the European Investment Fund and the European Investment Bank. Thus, the European Regional Development Fund has allocated POIIMM 100 million to support small and medium enterprises by facilitating access to credit, by offering guaranteed rates up to 80%.
Liability of healthcare professionals and of providers of medical products and services | Draft
The Ministry of Health launched for public debate the draft of the Order for amending Order no. 482/2007 of the Ministry of Health for approving the Methodological Norms for the application of Title XV “Liability of healthcare professionals and providing medical products, medical, health and pharmaceuticals services, ” of Law no. 95/2006 on healthcare reform.
ASF has concluded a collaboration agreement with the World Bank and the European Commission
Based on the agreement, the World Bank and the European Commission will grant the ASF with technical assistance services to strengthen its supervision of capital market. The project will be financed by the European Commission.
The Government approved the computation methodology and the approval procedure of the maximum prices of medicines
According to the updated methodology, starting with 1 April 2017 a 10% discount will be applied for medicines which have an expired patent (off-patent), 10% the second year and 15% in the third year. For the remainder of prescription medicines the prescribed procedure for computation of the price remains unchanged, relying on the lowest European price of a margin of 12 countries.
On the same note, through a different method for price computation for essential medicines listed by the World Health Organisation, which are 100% subsidized in Romania, the Ministry of Health will prevent the disappearance from the market of these essential medicines.
The Community healthcare law was adopted
As of 26 October 2016, the Government approved the draft law on Community healthcare needed to implement the commitments set in the Integrated Package to Combat Poverty. The law will regulate the healthcare community in communes, towns and Bucharest districts and provides the establishment, organization and functioning of integrated community centers.
