The Competition Council has authorized the acquisition of 78 pharmacies by Sensiblu
On September 27, 2016, the Competition Council authorized the transaction through which 78 pharmacies belonging to Sibpharmamed SRL, member of the Polisano group, were acquired by Sensiblu SRL, according to a press release.
Amending Order for approving the maximum prices of medicines sold by healthcare providers | Draft
On September 27, 2016, the Health Ministry launched for public debate the Order on supplementing the Addendum no.1 of Order no. 810/2015 for approving the maximum prices of medicines used / sold by healthcare providers or medicines under contract with the Ministry of Health, the houses of health insurance and / or county health departments, including in Bucharest, included in the National Catalogue of prices for medicinal products authorized for marketing in Romania and their generic reference prices.

Amending Order establishing the National Registry of Transplant | Draft
On September 23, 2016, the Health Ministry launched for public debate the Order amending Order no. 477/2009 on the establishment of the National Transplant Registry, the designation of persons responsible for the management of data from the National Registry of Transplant in the health units accredited to perform transplants of organs, tissues and cells of human origin for therapeutic purposes and establish the data necessary for registration of a person assigning unique registration code from the National Transplant Agency.
Amending laws impacting the public procurement field
In the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 738 dated 22 September 2016, was published Government Emergency Ordinance no. 58/2016 for amending and supplementing certain acts impacting on public procurement field, as follows:
– it is repealed the provisions by which SMEs benefit from discounts of 50% for criteria related to turnover, participation guarantee and warranty performance required in public procurement of goods, works and services, from Law 346/2004 regarding small and medium enterprises;
– the ordinance also amends and repeals certain provisions inlcuded in Law No. 51/2006 on community services of public utilities, so this law is correlated with the new public procurement laws in force.
