The National Bank of Romania launched for public debate, on Wednesday, 11 May, 2016, the draft of the Regulation for amending and supplementing Regulation no. 17/2012 on certain credit conditions.
Supplementing the rules for implementing the “First Home” programme | Draft
The Ministry of Finance released for public debate, on Tuesday, 10 May 2016, the draft of the Government Decision for supplementing G.D. no. 717/2009 regarding the approval of the implementation of the “First Home Programme.”
On the other hand, the Ministry of Finance also proposed to supplement the limit of guarantees for year 2016 with the amount of RON 500 millions, taking into consideration the requests of potential beneficiaries of the above mentioned programme and also the recent adoption of the commissioning pay back law.
The Competition Council opened an investigation regarding a possible abuse of dominant position of Telecom SA Netcity
The Competition Council conducted unannounced inspections at Netcity Telecom SA and premises of this company, focusing on a possible abuse of dominant position exercised by applying discriminatory treatment on the markets in which they operate (market access to physical infrastructure associated with electronic communications networks for their underground location).
Mediation Council. Changes in the professional taxes
The Council has released Resolution A / 15 / 13.04.2016, which states that art. 1 of Decision No. 20 / 31.05.2014 on the tax professional will change, as follows: “The professional fee represents the fee which is paid annually by each authorized mediator, who is registered in the panel of mediators, in order to ensure the necessary revenue of the Mediation Council for managing the panel of mediators” in accordance with the law.”
Also, the Mediation Council released Resolution A / 16 / 13.04.2016, approving the establishment of a RON 100 fee for professional office changes.
Directive (EU) 2016/680 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by competent authorities for the purposes of the prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offences or the execution of criminal penalties, and on the free movement of such data and repealing Council Framework Decision 2008/977/JHA
The Directive lays down the rules relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by competent authorities for the purposes of the prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offences or the execution of criminal penalties, including the safeguarding against and the prevention of threats to public security.
The Directive applies to the processing of personal data wholly or partly by automated means, and to the processing other than by automated means of personal data which form part of a filing system or are intended to form part of a filing system.
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data
In the Official Journal of the European Union, series L 119/1, was published the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement these data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC. The Regulation protects fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons and in particular their right to the protection of personal data (general data protection Regulation) and it shall apply from 25 May 2018.
